Project Manager

Razom We Stand, an organization driven by Ukrainian climate and peace activists, is seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Manager to join our dedicated team. Founded in April 2022, our mission is to combat Russia's fossil fuel dominance, help end the war in Ukraine, and expedite the transition to renewable energy across Europe.

  • Location: Remote (Applicants must have full working rights in the country from which they are applying).
  • Remuneration: Salary will be based on experience, including unpaid roles and other relevant experiences, ranging from €30,000 to €35,000 gross annually.
  • FTE Status: Full-time
  • Start Date: Ideally, as soon as possible

Role Overview:

As a Project Manager at Razom, We Stand, you will be pivotal in the organization. Your efforts will ensure that our projects not only meet deadlines but also achieve their intended impacts.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to manage and expand our organization’s projects and driven campaigns. This role involves leading both the strategic planning of projects and the hands-on management of planning, coordination, and execution. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes that align with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee and coordinate the organization's key projects from conception through completion. Ensure that all projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and manage events that promote the organization’s objectives. This includes logistics, budgeting, on-site management, and post-event reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with all project stakeholders, including community leaders, stakeholders, and partner organizations. Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources and coordinate efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and devise contingency plans.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Impact Analysis: Evaluate the impact of projects and events and provide detailed reports on outcomes and recommendations for future improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience in managing virtual and in-person projects.
  • A passion for the non-profit sector and commitment to the organization’s mission.
  • Knowledge of climate related issues, record of corresponding work and activism are highly desirable. 

Objectives of This Role:

  • Project Coordination and Communication: Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to establish clear and attainable project objectives, scopes, and requirements that are in sync with our organization’s strategic goals. Serve as a primary liaison to ensure all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Project Evaluation and Adaptation: Regularly assess project progress and performance. Be prepared to make necessary adjustments to project scopes, timelines, and budgets to respond to any challenges or changes in objectives, ensuring that projects remain on track and within the agreed parameters.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Encourage a collaborative team environment that leverages individual strengths to enhance project outcomes. Focus on enhancing the project management skills within the team, ensuring that all members are engaged and equipped to contribute effectively.
  • Other project management responsibilities, are assigned by the Manager. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a project manager preferably in the non-profit sector 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or related field.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, multitasking, and analytical skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Gsuit, and project management tools.
  • Experience with budget management for projects and events.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities.
  • At least three years of experience in project coordination or management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple project aspects and cope with substantial pressure.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
  • Ability to lead and inspire project teams.
  • Language: Ukrainian - native; fluency in written and spoken English
