Razom We Stand, an organization driven by Ukrainian climate and peace activists, is seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Manager to join our dedicated team. Founded in April 2022, our mission is to combat Russia's fossil fuel dominance, help end the war in Ukraine, and expedite the transition to renewable energy across Europe.

Role Overview:

The Grant Writer at Razom We Stand will be responsible for identifying grant opportunities, developing funding proposals, and managing grant submissions that align with our mission. This role is critical in ensuring that we have the necessary resources to carry out our initiatives effectively.

  • Location: Remote (Candidates must have full working rights in the country they are applying from).
  • Type of Employment: Part-time (20 hours per week)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Remuneration: Salary ranges from €25,000 to €29,000 gross annually, based on experience, including unpaid roles and other relevant experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grant Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities from government bodies, foundations, and other funders aligned with our mission.
  • Proposal Development: Craft compelling grant proposals by coordinating with various departments to compile the necessary information, including project objectives, budget estimations, and strategic alignment with funders’ goals.
  • Submission and Follow-up: Manage the submission of grant proposals and maintain regular communication with funders, providing additional information as required to support the application process.
  • Reporting: Handle the preparation of reports to grantors to demonstrate the impact of the funds received, ensuring compliance with all grant conditions.

Objectives of This Role:

  • Secure funding that supports Razom We Stand’s strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Enhance the organization's ability to impact the energy sector by transitioning to renewable resources.
  • Expand the number and diversity of funding sources to stabilize and increase funding. 
  • Strengthen relationships with existing donors and establish connections with potential funders.
  • Enhance the organization’s visibility and credibility in the non-profit sector through successful funding applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in grant writing, with a track record of successful proposals.
  • Excellent research, writing, communication and editing skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of the grant submission process and a keen understanding of the funding landscape for environmental and peace initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of the non-profit sector, particularly in areas related to climate action and energy transition.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Communications, English, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
  • Experience working in non-profit organizations, particularly in roles related to environmental issues, peace movements, or energy transition.
  • Familiarity with the political and social landscape of Eastern Europe, particularly Ukraine.
